In moments of doubt

Last week on Facebook I wrote “In moments of doubt, you cannot give up on your dreams”. In a moment of fear for me, where I wasn’t sure if I could put any more energy into what I was doing, I wrote it. I honestly thought of throwing everything up in the air and saying…

Doing things that scare you the most, often bring you further than walking the easy path and doing safe and familiar things.

Just read this statement, which says it all: If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.ReplyCancel

The space in between

This past week has been such a blessing that it’s hard to put into words; life changing I guess is the only way to describe it. I feel like I’ve been walking around in a dreamlike state and pinching myself along the way to make sure it’s true. Thankfully, it is. The space in between…

Catch up and carrying on

Mister and I just ended a fabulous time holidaying in Berlin and Munich where we saw a lot of history, partook in a great festival called Oktoberfest and toured two beautiful hilltop castles! Berlin has been one of those top places that I’ve always wanted to visit and to finally scratch it off my list…

My mom is here and we’re going to play!

This week officially started a crazy month and a half in my life! Between photographing beautiful sessions, designing albums, growing the business, and meeting fabulous people it will also be a time of play and entertainment! Friends and family have decided to start visiting so that means taking some time away from the computer to…

What would you like to know?

As the rain falls down from the gray sky, I feel comforted knowing that this is home to me. Gray sky, rain, not seeing the sun for what feels like months, but might only be an hour. The rain drips from roof to window sill down to the cement below with a repetitive drumming sound….

Ah, creative processes are always interesting…
How do you overcome your fears, how did you get where you are now, where do you see yourself in the future and how are you going do that?
How did it feel to let go of your previous life and start a new one? Did it reflect in your work? Do you feel different as a person and a photographer writing on a new page?
Can you switch off the “what if…” wich seems to occure in so many situations…
Did you ever made a terrible series of pictures and how did you manage to get over that?

(I can go on like this 😉

I think most people are very interested in who you are, what you do an most of all: how you feel and think for real.ReplyCancel

I echo all of Tanja’s comments above!

I want to get to know who you are and what your thoughts are! What has made you fall in the past and how have you’ve picked yourself up again? What has been your greatest professional accomplishment to date, and what professional moment do you look back on now and cringe – what have you learned from that experience?

Oh, and of course, PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES!ReplyCancel
