How to use Pinterest to live an authentic life

Most people tell me that Pinterest is a waste of time, and I can’t really argue with them, as I’ve spent many hours scrolling through the photos. However, I’ve used Pinterest to help me live a more authentic life, and for that…I love that it was ever invented! When I first signed up I would spend my evenings scrolling and clicking on images ‘pinning’ to my board because I thought it was cute/pretty/inspring or because someone else had pinned it and I thought I should too. But quickly it all became too much and I started dreading going onto my Pinterest, it wasn’t a reflection of me at all.

Once I realized that my Pinterest boards were starting to look like a bunch of images of everyone else’s boards, I started really taking the time to see what I was attracted to and what my heart was leaping to get a hold of. I remember feeling this way when we were looking for a wedding photographer, if their images made me want to jump into the screen and be that person in the photograph, I wanted them to photograph my wedding. That is what I started to implement with Pinterest.

So here, I share with you, how to use Pinterest to live an authentic life!

I hope the video inspires you to take a look at how you’re using Pinterest, Magazine, RSS Feeds etc and how it’s helping you live a more authentic life! If it does, please let me know either in the comments or respond via email, I always love hearing from you!
